About Us

4b is the only online platform committed to providing short-form content from opposing sides on controversial topics and breaking news. And, true to our name that references the fourth branch of government: the people, we encourage voting and healthy, productive conversations from all points of view by sharing and showcasing users’ thoughts on important issues. 

One of the motivations in creating this platform was to present a safe and engaging space where users can distill for themselves the truth within topics that are meaningful to them.  So often, the media--and even everyday people--present their individual interpretations of the truth behind a story. Given that no one can have the complete truth or the total story, we aim to provide with our articles an objective presentation of topics and news by offering both sides of a debate--with asks for more sides by users.  4b believes that the closest anyone can come to truth is by combining all the knowledge on a topic. And we are privileged to be the forum to achieve just that. This isn’t about who is right or wrong. This is about making the world a better place for everyone through shared understanding.
